January 31, 2019
1:00 -2:00 p.m. EST
The National Cancer Institute’s (NCI) Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) will host a webinar on January 31, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. EST to discuss RFA-CA-19-033, Improving Outcomes for Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivors (U01 Clinical Trial Required).
This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will support applications to develop and test interventions that prevent, mitigate, or manage adverse outcomes in pediatric and/or adolescent/young adult (AYA) cancer survivors and/or evaluate models of care that strengthen coordination, continuity, and care quality, or that reduce access barriers to needed services including follow-up care, and that improve outcomes across the survivor’s lifespan.
This webinar will explain the goals and objectives for the FOA and also answer attendee questions.
Note: RFA-CA-19-033 is associated with the Childhood Cancer Survivorship, Treatment, Access, and Research (STAR) Act of 2018 that is intended to maximize and accelerate discovery, development, and availability of promising childhood cancer treatments. It is also associated with the Beau Biden Cancer MoonshotSM Initiative that is intended to accelerate cancer research.
Investigators are encouraged to submit questions in advance, either when registering for the webinar or via email to NCIHDRP@mail.nih.gov
