Sweet Tea Cancer Connections

Sweet Tea Cancer Connections
Mission:
At Sweet Tea Sweet Tea Cancer Connections (STCC) we developed the world’s first, nonprofit, nationwide app – called CoHeals (Community Heals) – to connect parents and caregivers who are impacted by pediatric cancer.   By increasing hope and knowledge and easing the loneliness and isolation that too often impacts pediatric cancer families, we aim to build more resilient families and more resilient children.
Our grassroot efforts are taking place in the greater Seattle area even though our mobile app will be national in scale. We are collaborating with Seattle Children’s Hospital’s for the medical categorization. We also collaborated with University of Washington Human Centered Design and Engineering program for volunteers for UX/UI work,  and the UW Foster School Net Impact Program.   We have been collaborating researchers in psychosocial research within Pediatric Oncology.  Finally, important collaborations have ensued via our time spent at Cambia Grove.
