Hearing Loss After Cancer Treatment

Some chemotherapy drugs, other medications, or radiation needed to treat childhood cancer can damage hearing. This loss can interfere with daily living. It is important for survivors who have received these therapies to check their hearing to detect and respond accordingly if hearing loss is found.
