Secondary Cancers

After a battle with childhood cancer, the last thing someone wants to consider is the risk of developing a second cancer. However, the COG and several studies show that survivors have a slightly higher risk of developing cancer as they age. Age during therapy, specific treatments, and genetic and family history are contributing factors.
