Cardiac Disease in Childhood Cancer Survivors

Childhood cancer survivors may be at increased risk of cardiac disease due to chemotherapy or chest-directed radiation. Primary prevention strategies may prove helpful, highlighting the importance of screening and early management. This review discusses prevalence, risk factors, prevention, risk prediction, and surveillance of cardiac diseases.
